This article discusses reprints of religious Judaic manuscripts which were are believed to have been created in 1947 in the Displaced Persons Camp Bergen-Belsen in Germany. It is explained that these books played important roles in instilling hope for the future and assisting in the mourning process of holocaust survivors. The article discusses the history of the press and library of this camp and explains the significance of the Hebrew and Jewish book culture to survivors of the holocaust.
