Two different provenances: two photographs have inscriptions in Hebrew dating the event 20 October 1946; the other five photos, which clearly depict the same event, have inscriptions in Yiddish and give the year as 1947. The people depicted include UNRRA camp director Harold J. Fishbein; U.S. Army chaplain Rabbi Mayer Abramowitz; and a survivor of the Berlin Jewish community (wearing glasses and a raincoat).
