Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) recki Wainstein, 1958 Typhlodromus recki Wainstein, 1958: 203. Typhlodromus (Typhlodromus) recki. — Chant, 1959: 62. Typhlodromella recki (Wainstein).—Muma, 1961: 299. Typhlodromus (Neoseiulus) recki.—Ehara, 1966: 18. Anthoseius (Amblydromellus) recki. — Kolodochka, 1980: 39. Amblydromella recki.—Moraes et al., 1986: 171. Amblydromella (Aphanoseia) recki. — Denmark & Welbourn, 2002: 308. Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) recki. — Moraes et al., 2004: 344; Chant & McMurtry, 2007: 155. Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) recki is essentially reported from the Western Palearctic region and more especially from the Mediterranean basin. It has been found on a great variety of plants, more often on uncultivated plants and sometimes in crops as vineyards, tomatoes, potatoes, apple, peach, pear, plum and olive orchards (Papaioannou- Souliotis et al., 1994; Swirski & Amitai, 1997 b; Tixier et al., 2003; Rahmani et al., 2010). Nothing is known of its biology or its ability to control pests. This species was already reported from Morocco by Tixier et al. (2003) on Urtica dioica and Vitis vinifera in the region of Meknès. This species has also already been found on Marrubium sp. by Papadoulis et al. (2009). However, this is the first report on the genus Ajuga within the family Lamiaceae. This species seems quite common on plants of this latter family, as 39 reports on the 310 known are recorded on this family. Specimens examined: 2002, Oum Er Biaroad on Convolvulus altheoides (Convolvulaceae) (8 females, 3 males), Malus domestica (Rosaceae) (2 females), Mentha sp. (Lamiaceae) (18 females); 2003, Izemmouren on Echium vulgare (Boraginaceae) (6 females, 3 males), Marrubium alysson (17 females, 5 males), Ajuga iva (Lamiaceae) (13 females, 6 males), 5 kms of Laaïoun, station 1 on Onopordum bracteatum (Asteraceae) (1 female), Mazari Cape on Hypericum sp. (Hypericaceae) (1 female), Guerbouss Mountain Pass on Centaurea solsticialis (Asteraceae) (1 female), Cichorium intybus (Asteraceae) (14 females, 3 males), ...
