International audience ; Student motivation can be enhanced by positive social interactions, which can be found in CoPs (Communities of Practice), they’re based on the idea of interacting to improve a shared practice. The community offers the ability to move beyond simple information exchange to meaningful knowledge exchange. This paper describes the design of an online environment used as a support to a community of practice of students in higher education. Including community interactions using a social networking tool and community knowledge reuse using the CBR approach.
