Tämän opinnäytetyön toimeksianto saatiin Turun ammattikorkeakoulun kirjastolta. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää kirjaston aineistojen näkyvyyttä kolmen eri koulutusohjelman opinnäyteöiden lähdeluetteloissa. Tehty tutkimus on tapaustutkimus ja metodina käytettiin kvantitatiivista lähdeanalyysiä. Tutkimukseen valitut koulutusohjelmat olivat Kirjasto- ja tietopalvelu, Bioanalytiikka ja Yrittäjyys ja liiketoimintaosaaminen (YAMK). Jokaisesta koulutusohjelmasta valittiin viisi työtä vuodelta 2012 tutkittaviksi. ; This thesis is an assignment from the library of Turku University of Applied Sciences. The aim of this study is to clarify the visibility of library owned resources in the bibliographies of theses in three different degree programmes. This study is a case study and the method used a quantitative source analysis. The degree programmes in the study were Library and information services, Biomedical laboratory science and the master level degree programme in Entrepreneurship and business competence. From each degree programme five theses completed in the year 2012 were chosen for the study. The total number of the theses was fifteen and there were 516 cites in them. The number of sources, as well as the language, age and publication type of sources were reviewed. In addition, the availability of the sources in the library collection both both in Aura online database and Nelli Portal was studied. Also the availability of the materials on the internet was checked to compare of the use of internet and the library materials as sources in the theses. The results of this study showed that the most frequently used publication type was still a printed book. However, when all types of electronic publication type materials were added together, their use was more common than the use of the printed book. The most commonly used language is Finnish and the newest sources, locating in years 2010–2012, were used the most. Using electronic material was more common than using printed materials. When comparing the degree programmes the use of different publication types and library owned materials as sources in the theses seemed to vary significantly. In examining the whole research data it was found that 51 percent of the sources in the theses were library owned materials. When comparing with previous studies the number is quite low.
