International audience ; In this paper, we propose a 2.45 GHz CMOS transceiver with an ultralow power transmitter for cochlear implant application. This transmitter will be put in a 8 × 6 × 6 mm3 small volume. Implemented in a 130 nm CMOS standard process, it will be consuming about 3 mA under 1.2 V supply for an output power around –20 dBm. The receiver, designed with commercial components, is also presented and can offer, at the end of this paper, a system validation for this wireless microphone at 2.45 GHz.
