Dynamiques spatio-temporelles des villes secondaires au Sénégal : cas de Médina Gounass et de Diaobé en Haute

International audience ; The urbanization of African countryside poses the problem of the future of agrarian landscapes on the outskirts of cities. In Senegal, as in most west african cities, these spaces are undergoing a spatial reconstruction linked to urban expansion. This study analyses the spatio-temporal dynamics from 1965 to 2018 in secondary cities of Senegal, but quite dynamic : Medina Gounass and Diaobe lacated in the south of Senegal. Field surveys and interviews with resource persons (managers of structures and farmers' organizations) have made it possible to assess the degradation of the environment through a change in land use. The images of Corona 1965, Landsat 1999, Google Earth 2012 and Bing Map 2018 are used to analyze the evolution of land cover facies in these two localities. Mapping has shown that rainfed areas have been overtaken everywhere by the urban front. This urbanization is strongly linked to land pressure occurring in a context of complete communalization with the law number 2013-10 of 28 december 2013, overvaluing the plans of extension of the city. Sustainable urban development has become an important focus on policy agendas in response to urban issues. ; L'urbanisation des campagnes africaines pose le problème de l'avenir des paysages agraires situés à la périphérie des villes. Au Sénégal comme dans la plupart des villes ouest-africaines, ces espaces connaissent une recomposition spatiale liée à l'extension urbaine. Cette étude analyse les dynamiques spatio-temporelles de 1965 à 2018 dans des villes secondaires du Sénégal, mais assez dynamiques : Médina Gounass et Diaobé situées au sud du Sénégal. Les enquêtes de terrain et les entretiens réalisés avec des personnes ressources (responsables de structures et organisations paysannes) ont permis d'apprécier la dégradation de l'environnement à travers un changement dans les usages du sol.
