Dimensión afectiva de personas con Trastorno Mental Grave a través de la formación artística. Arte-terapia: 'Proyecto E-Motion'

This article tries to position the state of the issue of emotions in the Art’s gap, both in creation and in reproduction of artistic works, focused specifically on working with people with severe mental disorder. Starting from the pedagogical current of artherapy and the concept of emotion as an essential factor in this group, the E-motion Project starts, whose main objective is the study of the effects of art in people with severe mental disorder. Specifically, the participants of the experimental group who joined in the study showed statistically significant differences in the areas of social functioning and leisure and free time, and tendentially in self-esteem, compared to the control group. ; El presente artículo trata de posicionar el estado de la cuestión de las emociones en el espacio del arte, tanto en creación como en reproducción de obras artísticas, centrados de manera específica en el trabajo con personas con salud mental grave. Partiendode la corriente pedagógica de la arteterapia y del concepto de la emoción como factor esencial en este colectivo, arranca el Proyecto E-motion, cuyo principal objetivo es el estudio de los efectos del arte en personas con trastorno mental grave. En concreto, los sujetos del grupo experimental que participaron en el estudio mostraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en las áreas de funcionamiento social y ocio y tiempo libre, y tendencialmente en autoestima, frente al grupo control
