Kadim Türk Yurdunun nadide parçalarından olan Kerkük'teki Osmanlı mirasının önemli unsurlarından birisi de Kerkük kalesi içindeki Danyal Peygamber Câmii'nin bitişiğindeki alanda bulunan küçük mezarlık veya şehitliktir. Burada Kerkük'te yaşamını yitirmiş Osmanlı devlet görevlileri ve Kerkük'ün ileri gelenlerine ait mezarlar mevcuttur. Mezarlıkta toplam 27 adet mezar yeri olmakla birlikte taşı olmayan mezarların yanı sıra kırık veya okunamaz durumda mezar kitâbeleri de vardır. Osmanlı devlet görevlisi olarak ferik/paşa, mirliva, miralay, binbaşı ve yüzbaşı rütbelerindeki subaylarla İttihat ve Terakki Partisi'nin önde gelen isimlerinden Ömer Naci Bey'in mezarı da bulunmaktadır. Mevcut Osmanlı mezartaşları 1887-1916 yılları arasına tarihlenmektedir ; One of the most important parts of the Ottoman heritage in Kirkuk, a precious representative of the oldest Turkish native land, is the cemetery or martyrdom, located on the alongside of the Prophet Danyal Mosque in the Kirkuk Fortress. In the cemetery there are the graves of local notables and Ottoman government officials who lost their lives in Kirkuk. In the cemetery with a total of 27 burial places as well as graves, some graves do not have any stone while others were broken or unreadable. Alongside the tomb of Ömer Naci Bey, one of the prominent names of the Union and Progress Party, other gravestones belong to officers in the positions of lieutenant general, brigadier general, colonel, majors and captains. Ottoman tombstones in the cemetery belong to the period between 1887-1916 ; One of the key elements of the Ottoman heritage in Kerkük, which is a rare part of the ancient Turkish Yurdu, is a small cemetery or martyrdom located in the area next to Danyal Prophet Câmii in the fortress of Kerkük. There are Ottoman government officials who died in Kerkük and graves belonging to Kerkük's dignitaries.
