This study is carried out to assess the effect of interrupted feeding method in growth out culture of square-head climbing perch (Anabas testudineus). The juvenile fish with average weight of 2,91±0,41(g) are cultured in 9 tanks (300L) in 60 days with 3 feeding treatments, that are (1) daily satiation feeding (NT1); (2) satiation feeding for 7 days and starvation for 2 days (NT2); (3) satiation feeding for 7 days and starvation for 3 days (NT3). After 60 days of culture, body weight of fish in NT1 is highest(19,65g) while there are no significant differences of this of fish between NT2 (14,48g) and NT3 (14,08g). The survival rate of fish between the treatments is not different and ranges from 97,50 to 99,17%. Similarly, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and feed conversion efficiency (FCE) do not significantly differ between treatments. Thus, it can be said that interrupted feeding may not be the effective feeding method in growth out culture of square-head climbing perch.
