We spend time with three women, all in their 70s, who demonstrate how to weave from coconut leaves. First Leipipiri shows how to make a kavekave basket, which is used for removing rubbish around the house or refuse in the gardens. This was recorded in the same session as recordings 011, 012, 013 with all present at Warasiwu, Mele. The speakers all in their 70s, all brought up speaking Atara Imere only, and learning Bislama and English when they went to school. Still all use Atara Imere every day as main language, but using Bislama in daily life outside home. This text was recorded in video and archived files are in mp4 video format and wav audio format. The eaf ELAN file contains both English and Bislama translations and the text has been fully glossed.
