The article reports on the introduction of an integrated sponsorship package by the United Football League (UFL) which it claimed as assault proof in the U.S. Frank Vuono, the league's chief operating officer (COO), said that the NFL model has transformed as one where networks pay big rights so they have to protect their advertisers, but cannot allow any sponsors on the field. With this, he explains that one ends up with sponsors who feel like being ambushed on the broadcast.
