Based on L'Allemagne au-dessus de tout, the paper aims at demonstrating that international relations are a sociological object as another one, especially after 1895 (Durkheim applies concepts of normal and pathological, he sees an order thanks to moral and legal tasks enforced by international «milieu»). Nevertheless, Durkheim does not conceive humanity as a morphological society and State, for him, stands for a structure not overreached. Our analysis underlines a sociological thought which is modern and present. It criticizes also two ideas: Durkheim would not dealt international relations, Durkheim would devises international society like national one. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
