Globally, the building sector alone accounts for around 28% of final energy consumption and 25% in Morocco. For this study, four types of windows are used, namely Clear glazing window, Bronze glazing window, Green glazing window, Bronze-reflective glazing window. In this article we will study the thermal behavior of the building by changing the color of the window glasses and by evaluating the annual consumption loads in addition to a comparison with the consumption requirements of the thermal construction regulations at Morocco. The impacts of single glazing for different colors on annual consumption charges, and the effect of simple, double and triple glazing for each color on annual consumption charges are studied. The climatic zones considered are Agadir (Z1), Tangier (Z2), Fez (Z3), Ifrane (Z4), Marrakech (Z5), and Er-Rachidia (Z6). The results show that Bronze reflective glazing is recommended for single glazing for all zones. In zone 4, no types are accepted.in this case it is absolutely necessary to think of having recourse to insulation to minimize the consumption charges. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
