The article is devoted to the results of the introduction study of Dianthus seguieri Vill. on the basis of the South-Ural Botanical Garden-Institute - Subdivision of the Ufa Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. D. seguieri is a perennial herbaceous plant, hamefit. Grows on grassy hills and meadows, on limestone in the North-East of Spain, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, northern Italy. The flowers of D. seguieri is actinomorphic, with a double perianth. Guinness cooking consists of 4 carpels. The eggs are located on the placenta, in the center of the ovary. The top of the ovary. The number of columns is two. Studied genodice D. seguieri, in terms of culture. The stages of flowering and their duration, as well as the morphology and size of flowers were studied in bisexual and female forms. Bisexual and female flowers D. seguieri vary in size: the diameter of female flowers 1,7-2,2 cm, bisexual flowers - 2,2-3,5 cm, there is a strong reduction of filaments and anthers in female flowers. In the daily period of flowering flowers in those and other sexual forms of the difference is not noted. They open at the same time. It is shown that D. seguieri individuals in cultivation in the forest-steppe zone of the Bashkir Ural have a good seed yield, due to the high coefficient of productivity (98%) and a large number of flowers on the plant (up to 800 pcs./plant). With the introduction of the studied species passes the entire cycle of growth and development. According to the rhythm D. seguieri refers to the long-growing evergreen plants of summer flowering.
