The study examined of several medicinal plant roots such as Alostonia boonei, Pleioceras barteri, and Morinda lucida which were removed to soil to avoid contamination. Results revealed that medicinal plant roots contains 0.87, 0.91, and O.9milligram (mg) respectively, which suggests a possible secondary alkylamines which can generate carcinogenic nitrosamines.
